There is a vast difference in the meaning of word ‘Consumer’ and ‘Grahak’. Infact word Grahak has no equivalent in English language. Word ‘Consumer’ implies consumption without thought. A ‘Grahak’ on the other hand means one who applies his mind, intellect and then consumes.
ABOUT GRAHAK RIGHTS
Right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods so as to protect the consumer against unfair trade practices.
